Cooperation, Conflict Resolution, And School Violence: A Systems Approach
It is a mistake to assume that causes of school violence reside only or primarily in the school. Child abuse and neglect, a culture of violence, economic and social injustice, and the easy availability of weapons, for example, contribute to the occurrence of violence but are largely not under school control.
